Forged fittings are essential components in high-pressure piping systems. Socket Weld Fittings are designed for small-diameter, high-pressure pipework. They involve inserting the pipe into a recessed area of the fitting and applying a fillet weld around the joint, offering strong, leak-proof connections. These fittings are ideal for applications where welding integrity and strength are critical.
Threaded Fittings, on the other hand, are used where welding is not suitable or practical. These fittings feature internal or external threads and are easy to install or replace, making them ideal for low to moderate pressure systems and non-critical applications.
